Commuter Dreaming on Highway 17

Every morning on the week days thousands of people in cars, vans and trucks leave Santa Cruz and head 'over the hill' to Silicon Valley. I did this too for five years. Now I work at home, but sometimes I still have to join all the others on the road. They come, they go. They stop and start and weave in and out like a dance. Some leave the road before me, and and some leave after.
