Honda Accident on Felton Empire

In 1982 just after our road was cleared from the big storm, I was driving home from work. A black van came up the hill in the middle of the road. I swerved to the right to avoid it, and hit the cliff side. The blue car I was driving bounced off and headed across the road. There was an eighty foot drop there, but a kindly redwood tree stopped the car. My foot broke off and I lay on the side of the road until the ambulence came. There was a light drizzle which felt good on my face.
